It's no secret. Those of you who know me know that I adore The Three Stooges. Most of my Saturday afternoons as a kid included eating lunch with my parents while watching The Stooges along with The Munsters and WWF back in the 80's when it (WWF) was still cool. My friend P recently informed me that they are making a movie about The Stooges. I really don't know how I feel about this yet.
Lately, a clip from one of their shorts, If a Body Meets a Body, has been amusing me to no end. The minute long clip is toward the end of the YouTube video below. Forward the video to 7:30 and watch up to 8:32.
"Thanks Dracula." Moe's delivery is great! So matter of fact, and I love the expression on the creepy guy's face. Curly's little jump is pretty awesome too.
I was obsessed with the Three Stooges when I was an undergrad. I have hours of a Stooges marathon recorded on VHS -- ha! My brother and I have never laughed as hard and as loud as we laughed at that stupid bird inside the skull! I like Moe's Dracula put-down, too. He's almost on par with Groucho with that one!
PS: I've moved from livejournal to Dreamwidth to get away from all of the livejournal advertising/Facebook/Twitter/gaming crap. DW is much easier with OpenID urls. I'm going to try to add you to my new journal. Here's my url:
